In 2003, Kim Cornell restored the Cornell Farms' heritage barn. Built in 1915, by William Pope, Gordon's grandfather, the barn is a well-known landmark in the Rainy River District. It is a working barn from September to June — used as hay storage in the winter and for calving cows in the spring. In the summer it is used for barn concerts and events.
If you are interested in performing at Cornell Farms, please contact us. We only do two or three events per year but are always interested in hearing from potential performers.
